Build · Mobile App Development
Mobile app development worth the space on a phone.
We design, build and release mobile apps for iOS and Android that feel quick, clear and dependable in someone's hand. One senior team covers product thinking, design, development and store release, then stays on for the updates that follow.
01Problems we solve
If this sounds familiar, we can help.
An idea with no clear first version
Without a focused scope, apps balloon into long builds that launch late and miss what users needed.
Two platforms, double the effort
Maintaining separate iOS and Android codebases can stretch a small budget and team too thin.
An app people install once and forget
Clunky onboarding, slow screens and crashes push users to uninstall within days.
Stuck with an unmaintained app
A previous build is out of date with new OS versions, and nobody can safely ship a fix.
02What we build
Mobile products from first prototype to the hundredth release.
- 01
Cross-platform apps
One codebase in React Native or Flutter for iOS and Android, with native modules where they matter.
- 02
Native iOS and Android
Swift and Kotlin builds when an app depends on deep device features or platform-specific polish.
- 03
Companion apps for your platform
Mobile access to an existing web product or business system, sharing the same APIs and accounts.
- 04
Progressive web apps
Installable, offline-capable web apps when an app store release is not the right first step.
- 05
MVPs and prototypes
A tight first release to put in front of real users and learn quickly before investing further.
- 06
App rescue and upgrades
Audits, dependency upgrades and stability fixes for existing apps that have fallen behind.

04How we work
A clear path from first call to handover.
- 1
Define the core loop
Who the app is for, the one job it must do well, and what belongs in version one.
- 2
Prototype on device
Interactive prototypes tested on real phones, so flows are proven before they are built.
- 3
Build and test
Regular test builds through TestFlight and Play testing tracks, with feedback at every stage.
- 4
Release and iterate
Store listings, review submission and launch, then updates driven by analytics and user feedback.

05Why Exposys
One senior team, accountable end to end.
Honest platform advice
We recommend cross-platform, native or a progressive web app based on your needs, and explain the trade-offs plainly.
Tested on real devices
Every release is checked on a range of phones and screen sizes, not only on simulators.
Accounts in your name
Developer accounts, signing keys and repositories belong to you, so you are never locked out of your own app.
Built for the long run
Clean architecture and documented release steps make OS updates and new features routine rather than risky.
Who it's for.
Consumer startups
First releases that test an idea with real users and grow into a full product.
Field and frontline teams
Inspection, delivery and service apps that work reliably with patchy signal.
Health and wellbeing
Booking, tracking and coaching apps designed with care for privacy and accessibility.
Retail and loyalty
Ordering, rewards and account apps that connect to your existing store and systems.
06FAQ
Mobile Apps questions.
Should we build native or cross-platform?
For most business apps, React Native or Flutter gives you iOS and Android from one codebase with a native feel. Native Swift and Kotlin make sense when you rely heavily on device hardware or platform-specific features, and we explain which fits your case.
Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?
Yes. We prepare store listings, screenshots and privacy details, submit the builds and respond to reviewer feedback. The developer accounts are set up in your name so you keep full control.
Can you take over an app another team built?
Usually, yes. We start with a code and dependency audit, tell you what is healthy and what is risky, and then recommend whether to stabilise, refactor or rebuild.
Do we need a backend for our app?
Most apps need somewhere to store accounts and data. We can connect to your existing systems or set up a backend using tools such as Firebase, Supabase or a custom Node.js API.
What ongoing work does an app need after launch?
Apple and Google release OS updates every year, and libraries need upgrading to stay secure and compatible. We offer support plans covering updates, monitoring and new features.
